We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate EMDR Counsellor / therapist to join our system change and social justice focused work at Platfform. This role is part of the Swansea hub team as part of a project to support Western Bay’s Health Board's Substance Use systems to work collaboratively and, in a trauma-informed way. This work will inform the development of our systems change work.
The Swansea team is made up of a: Service Coordinator, Assistant Psychologist, 1-2 Counsellors, 1 Specialist EMDR Therapist, and a Wellbeing coach. As part of the team, the EMDR therapist role will be to work alongside the team to support in a person-led, strengths-based way, putting the person they are working with first to support someone to achieve their decided goals. This role will support the practitioner psychologist and rest of the team as required in carrying out assessment, facilitation of team formulation sessions, and intervention delivery. There will also be a requirement to work with the system, including the MDT alongside the provision of EMDR therapy. This role will support with the evaluation process and data collection of the teams approach and provide direct sessional support to referred persons with the aim of supporting their involvement and participation in the process.

DATA RETENTION
How long will you use my information for?
